The Bruce Buchanan Memorial Aquatic Center (formerly Selah Aquatic Center), operated by SPRSA (Selah Park and Recreation Service Area) Board is currently accepting applications for summer 2026.  Applications will be reviewed in the order received.

Positions open for Summer 2026:

Minimum Requirements and Preferences​

• Head Guard: Lifeguard certification (LGI certification is preferred).

• Lifeguards: Lifeguard certification.

• Swim Instructors: WSI is preferred, but teaching experience may be accepted. Must be CPR certified.

• Exercise Instructor: Certification is preferred; teaching experience will be accepted. Must be CPR certified.

• Cashier: Experience preferred.  Must be CPR certified.

Hours: Dependent upon position.  Typical hours per week vary.  In general, all staff select their own work hours.
