Swim Instructor Training class in June/July

Completion of our lifeguard training class results in a Red Cross Lifeguard certification. Completing our swim instructor training class results in a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification.

 

Junior guard classes offer students ages 11-14 an introduction to what it is like as a lifeguard and the opportunity to be assistant swim instructors. They are taught lifeguard water entries, standing and roving lifeguard skills, stroke improvement, and concession stand procedures.
