Our next Junior lifeguard training class will be:

• June 15-19, 2026  10:00 am-noon

Participants requirements include:

• Must be 11-14 years of age

• Must be able to swim 100 yards

• Must be able to tread water for 1 minute

Skills taught: 

• Lifeguard entries

• Stroke improvement

• Assisting with swim lessons

• Concession stand orientation (and how to make snow cones)

• Scanning and roving skills for lifeguard assisting

​

Upon successful completion of the class participants will receive a youth summer pass, a Jr. Guard staff shirt, and will be eligible to participate in staff activities and assist with events including recreational swims and swim lessons.
