The Selah Aquatic Center Junior Lifeguard Class 2023 for ages 11-14 years old.

• Class One: June 19-June 23, 2023  9:30am-12:00pm Monday-Friday

• Class Two:  July 10-July 14, 2023   9:30am-12:00pm Monday-Friday

Participants must be able to swim 100 yards and tread water for 1 minute.

Skills taught: 

• lifeguard entries

• stroke improvement

• assisting with swim lessons

• concession stand orientation (and how to make snow cones)

• scanning and roving skills for lifeguard assisting

​

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a youth summer pass, and a Jr. Guard staff shirt, and be eligible to participate in staff activities and assist with events including recreational swims and swim lessons.

All-inclusive price (training, pool pass, and uniform): $130
