Maintenance and Operations (M&O) Levy - August 6, 2024

The M&O levy is needed to KEEP OUR POOL OPEN.  All public pools cost more to operate than they generate in revenue.  Without a maintenance and operations levy passed by the voters in August of 2024, there will not be sufficient funds to open the Aquatic Center in 2025.  The Aquatic Center is a public pool and we need the community's support to keep it open.  Public pools provide a service and improve the quality of life, similar to parks, schools, and libraries.  This levy would provide funds for the pool for the years of 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030.

WHO is asking - The Selah Park & Recreation Service Area (SPRSA) operates the Selah Aquatic Center on property leased from the City of Selah. SPRSA is proposing an M&O Levy of $0.07 per $1,000 of assessed property value to keep the Selah Aquatic Center open for the next six years.
